This client wanted a hint of an industrial look in a modern kitchen with warm tones. We used Dekton Trillium worktops to give a touch of an industrial look. We complemented the appliances with aluminium trims and to soften the look, we introduced warmer tones with the kitchen door frontals and solid oak surfaces.

THE PROCESS

We love this urban and industrial look with Dekton Trillium. Dekton is one of the most robust and resistant materials to use for kitchen worktops. Scratch proof, heat resistant and no staining! This worktop is textured and with a matt finish giving this a more earthy feel.

We featured a solid oak worktop over hung for a seating area around the breakfast bar. Instead of a breakfast bar leg to support the weight, we opted for a more streamline finish by continuing the worktop as a waterfall feature. Allowing space for stalls to sit comfortably underneath.

Our client wanted an open unit for display use. By having this option in the same colour as the door front, the look is in keeping with the rest of the kitchen. Placed centrally of the run maintains symmetry.
